My Health Coaching practice specializes in prenatal and postpartum individuals. We work as a collaborative team to create new healthy habits to nourish your body and baby in pregnancy or postpartum which requires new demands on one’s nutrition. With my additional background in mental health counseling, we go beyond the food to work on the psychological relationship to food and create life-lasting habits and changes.

prenatal nutrition

Together we will create a plan to incorporate the key nutrients to help ensure a healthy pregnancy. We will review your current diet and find natural aids to common pregnancy issues such as fatigue, morning sickness, nausea, heartburn, constipation, etc. We will establish practical steps to find balance, incorporate the foods you love, and the essential nutrients to benefit a developing baby.

postpartum nutrition

“Mothers cannot give from a depleted source. Every mother needs emotional mental, physical and spiritual validation, nourishment, and support.” The postpartum period is one of complete transformation and recovery. Recovering from a traumatic birth experience, exhaustion, lack of sleep, it is a difficult time for most. I am here to help provide emotional support and nourishment. I help meal plan, inform on the key nutrients for energy and breastfeeding, and can provide meal delivery services as well if you are in my area. I help arm you with knowledge to make the most of your nutrient choices to nourish yourself and baby.
